The child custody dispute involving Ghanaian TikToker Humble Soul and Shantel has taken another turn after Shantel filed an application seeking custody and access to their daughter, Najat.
According to Humble Soul’s lawyer, Shantel’s application has been duly served, and the legal team has filed a response addressing the claims.
During proceedings on Friday, August 28, 2026, the court also considered an oral application for a social inquiry report to be conducted in connection with the case.
The report is expected to examine the circumstances surrounding the custody dispute and provide relevant findings to assist the court in determining appropriate custody and access arrangements.
The social inquiry is also expected to provide the court with additional information to guide its consideration of Najat’s welfare and best interests.
Following the proceedings, the court adjourned the case to November 13, 2026, for further hearing.
The matter therefore remains before the court, with both parties expected to present their respective positions as the custody and access proceedings continue.
