Ghanaian Highlife musician Bisa Kdei performed for a gathering of dignitaries at a private event over the weekend attended by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
Bisa Kdei, the sole musical act billed for the occasion, entertained guests with some of his popular songs, including “Brother Brother,” during the event.
Following his performance, the award-winning singer exchanged pleasantries with the former president and his wife, who were among several high-profile guests in attendance.
The appearance comes as Bisa Kdei ramps up activities ahead of The Convention, his flagship event scheduled for December 20, 2026, at the East Legon Underbridge Annex in Accra.
The musician has also been promoting his latest single, “Receipt,” through a series of public appearances as he seeks to build momentum ahead of the busy festive season.
Known for a string of Highlife hits, Bisa Kdei is expected to intensify promotional efforts in the coming months as preparations continue for the December event.
