Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, has said infidelity is not enough to make her walk away from a relationship.
The award-winning musician made the revelation during a podcast discussion, where she opened up about her experiences with love, heartbreak and relationships.
Tiwa Savage said she has never ended a relationship because a partner cheated on her, stressing that she has also never been unfaithful in her relationships.
“I never cheated in my relationships and I never left anyone for cheating,” she said.
According to the singer, other behaviours, including stealing and drug use, are more likely to push her to end a relationship.
She explained that she has walked away from relationships over such issues, although some former partners later returned to apologise.
“Some men stole from me indirectly. I would leave, then they would come and apologise and I would take them back. But cheating wasn't a deal breaker for me,” she stated.
Tiwa further recounted an instance where a partner cheated on her, but she chose to forgive him. Despite her decision to stay, she said the man eventually ended the relationship.
“A guy once cheated on me. I forgave him, but he still left me because I don't see cheating as a reason to break up,” she added.
