'What did i do wrong?' — Woman cries after physically challenged man approached her at wedding and proposed marriage

A Nigerian woman has shared her surprise after a man she met at a wedding reception approached her and expressed interest in marrying her.

According to the woman, she had dressed up for the occasion, putting effort into her appearance before attending.

She said she wore a stylish outfit, fixed her hair, nails and lashes, and added new shoes and a bag before heading to the wedding.

At the reception, she said a physically challenged man approached her while she was standing with some of the aso-ebi ladies.

She explained that although she was surprised, she chose to listen to him because she did not want to dismiss him.

“I didn’t want to be rude because he’s also human, so I decided to give him audience,” she said.

The woman said the man later told her that he wanted to marry her, a moment she described as unexpected.

She questioned why he selected her among the many women present at the wedding.

“He then said he wanted to marry me. I was like, of all the girls that are here, why me? Why did you choose me?” she said.

She added that she was further surprised because she believed many other ladies at the event could have caught his attention.

“The funny part was that I even wore my 18-carat, 4.5-gram gold bracelet. What did I do wrong? Upon all the sweet boys that came to the wedding,” she added.
