Ghanaian actress Maame Serwaa has dismissed rumours suggesting that she has undergone body enhancement surgery.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo, the actress clarified that she has never had any form of cosmetic surgery done on her body despite ongoing public speculation.
According to Maame Serwaa, her physical transformation over the years is a result of consistent gym workouts and personal fitness efforts rather than surgical enhancement.
She revealed that she has been actively going to the gym since 2019 to work on her body and maintain her shape.
“I haven’t had any surgery on my body,” she stated during the interview, stressing that many assumptions made by social media users about her appearance are false.
The actress, however, noted that if she ever decides to undergo any medical procedure in the future, it would only be for health reasons.
According to her, the only surgery she would consider would be a breast reduction procedure to help ease back pain.
“But if I ever choose to do one, it would specifically be breast reduction because of back pain,” she explained.
Her comments come after years of online discussions and criticism from some social media users who have often accused celebrities of undergoing cosmetic procedures to enhance their appearance.
Maame Serwaa further emphasized that people should stop making assumptions about women’s bodies without knowing the facts.
