Ghanaian actor and football administrator Yaw Dabo has officially forgiven fellow actor Oboy Siki, bringing an end to the defamation suit that made headlines across the country.

The conflict began when Yaw Dabo filed a GH¢1 million defamation suit against Oboy Siki at the Adum High Court in Kumasi, claiming that remarks allegedly made by Oboy Siki had tarnished his reputation and personal image. The statements reportedly touched on his family life and his role in football administration, prompting Dabo to seek legal redress.

However, the two parties have now resolved their differences amicably. Oboy Siki publicly apologized for his previous comments, and Yaw Dabo accepted the apology, stating that he holds no grudges. The resolution was facilitated in part by the intervention of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, who encouraged dialogue and reconciliation among the parties.

Following the apology and reconciliation, Oboy Siki formally withdrew the defamation suit, and Yaw Dabo confirmed that he has forgiven him. Both actors expressed a desire to move past the dispute and focus on their careers in the entertainment industry.
