
A fierce fire on Friday night destroyed the East Legon residence of popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro.
According to eyewitnesses, the blaze began around 8:30 p.m., quickly spreading through the building before firefighters arrived. By the time the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responders arrived, the flames had already engulfed the entire property, reducing it to rubble.
No casualties were reported, as the actress and occupants managed to escape unharmed. However, the damage to the property was extensive, with household items, personal belongings, and valuables lost in the inferno.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Meanwhile, fire officers have launched an investigation to uncover what triggered the fire.
