Ghanaian afrobeats singer Kelvyn Boy has accused his former mentor, Stonebwoy, of defaming him and using “mafia tactics” to sabotage his career.
In a social media post on Monday, December 30, Kelvyn Boy expressed his frustrations, claiming Stonebwoy’s actions have hindered his progress in the music industry.
In the emotional post, Kelvyn Boy lamented the impact of Stonebwoy’s alleged actions on his reputation and career.
“What exactly do you want from a nigga? You have defamed me, turned majority of Ghanaians against me because you’re a saint and you can never do no wrong,” he wrote.
Kelvyn Boy further alleged that Stonebwoy’s influence has prevented him from reaching his full potential.
“I no dey fit rise to the heights I for dey mainly because of your mafia tactics. But Grace dey speak for me regardless,” he stated.
The musician’s outburst comes in the wake of remarks made by Stonebwoy regarding their controversial split.
Stonebwoy, in an interview, described Kelvyn Boy’s past actions as “dangerous and deadly” and said only divine intervention saved him.
He added that due to these events, Kelvyn Boy could never visit his house again.
Reacting to these comments, Kelvyn Boy suggested that Stonebwoy’s attempts to undermine him had extended to spreading rumors about his death.
“It still hasn’t been enough? So what? Your attack of PHASE 1 didn’t work, you want to spark death rumours now? Lmao,” he wrote.
The feud between the two musicians, which began after Kelvyn Boy’s departure from Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group, continues to be a subject of public interest.
