In a shocking twist to the ongoing saga of the iconic Nigerian music duo Psquare, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, has come forward with serious allegations against his twin brother, Peter Okoye. The duo, who have had a turbulent relationship over the years, seem to be facing another significant rift that could spell the end of their musical partnership.
Speaking in a recent interview, Paul alleged that his own twin brother had plotted to destroy his career by involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
"My own twin brother Peter wanted to kill me. He planned to finish me, but his plan failed. He called the EFCC, and they got me arrested," Paul stated.
He added, “Thank God I wasn’t doing Yahoo; if not, my career would have been finished.”
The tension between the brothers appears to have escalated over financial disagreements and allegations of mismanagement. Reports indicate that Peter involved the EFCC after suspecting that funds were being diverted within their joint ventures.
This led to the interrogation and temporary detention of Paul and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, by the EFCC.
Despite being cleared of any wrongdoing by the authorities, Paul expressed his deep disappointment and hurt over the actions of his brother, further fuelling speculation that this may be the final straw for the duo's long-standing but tumultuous relationship.
