Supported by generous sponsorship from his employers at the Fiesta Hospitality Group, Chef Malan is set to introduce some of his award-winning recipes into the menu at the Grillroom Restaurant located within the Fiesta Residences.
Looking ahead, Chef Malan has set his sights on a grand aspiration – to witness full Ghanaian participation and representation at the next culinary Olympics in 2028. Proudly flying the Black Star flag, Chef Malan entered the competition as a chef hailing from Ghana, despite his South African origins.
Renowned for his culinary prowess and recognized for his contributions to television and radio ventures, Chef Malan views this recent victory as a pinnacle moment in his career. His dedication to showcasing African cuisine on the global stage has been unwavering, with a focus on creating dishes that can compete proudly worldwide.
