Ghanaian singer and songwriter Fameye has appealed to his fans to remember him in their prayers.

In a post on Facebook on Saturday, May 27, the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker wrote, “Remember me in your prayers.”

Fameye, whose real name is Peter Fameye, is a popular Ghanaian singer and songwriter known for songs like ‘Nothing I Get’, ‘Obiaa’, ‘Mati’, and ‘Kwesi Appiah’.

The artist rose to prominence after releasing ‘Nothing I Get’ in 2018 which became an instant hit.

The plea from the singer comes months after releasing his ground-breaking extended play album titled ‘Songs of Peter’.

Fameye has been embarking on European tours after the release to promote his music to international audiences.

The Bogoso boy has had a successful music career so far with over 70 million views on YouTube and several awards to his name.

Some of the accolades he has won includes Vodafone Ghana Music Awards' 'Best New Artist of the Year.

The singer is known for his unique style of music which blends Highlife, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Dancehall.

Fameye is currently signed to Fameye Music, a label he founded to leverage creative control over his music.
