Ghanaian rapper, Medikal, has dismissed rumors of a rift between himself and his wife, Fella Makafui, following the release of his new single, which features his ex-girlfriend, Sister Derby.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Medikal clarified that his wife was aware of the collaboration with Sister Derby, and she was "cool" with it. He stated that Fella Makafui understands him as a person and trusts him to do the right thing.
The rapper's new single titled "Cold & Trophies" is in two parts, with Medikal performing solo in the first and sharing the stage with Sister Derby in the second. Sister Derby shared a snippet of the track on her Instagram page, writing "Bestie things."
Fella Makafui, who is known to be an avid fan of her husband, did not publicly acknowledge the collaboration, which led to speculation about the state of their relationship. However, Medikal dismissed the rumors, stating that people often read too much into their posts. According to him, he and his wife are fine.
The rapper's clarification should put an end to the rumors and allow fans to enjoy his new single without any unnecessary drama.
