‘Die hard’ star Bruce Willis will bow out of the movie scenes permanently after being diagnosed with a condition that affects his ability to speak and write.
The Hollywood star’s current wife, Emma Heming-Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore announced the unfortunate condition on Instagram earlier this week.
The statement indicated that the star has been diagnosed with Aphasia which they say is “impacting his cognitive abilities.”
Bruce Willis, 67, is best known for his outstanding performance in the 1988 sequel movie ‘Die Hard’ in which he played John McClane.
The movie, international movie critics say shot him to fame.
“With much consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.
This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support,” his family wrote.
He has five daughters, three with Miss Moore and two with Mrs Heming–Willis.
