Ghanaian Reggae Musician, Paapa Wastik that HE does not do music for awards but does timeless music.
Paapa Wastik, a native of Cape Coast but based in the United States of America shared his thoughts on his Facebook.
“I Don’t do music for awards; I don’t do popular music nor do music to clash with anyone. I do timeless and eternal songs; I do quality songs not quantity. I do not follow the crowd, I lead the crowd. I learned how to wash my hands properly very early so most of my life I have been eating with the elders.”
Paapa Wastik is an old boy of Mfantsipim School and has been in the music industry for over two decades.
Paapa Wastik has shared the stage over the years with big-time acts like Lucky Dube, Alpha Blondy, Third World, Luciano, Ky-Mani Marley, and Mutabaruka.
Some of the tracks he has under his sleeve include; “Home Sweet Home,” “Afrakoma”, “Thanks and Praise” and “Makoma Mu Hemaa.”
