Renowned Cape Coast-based dancehall act ‘Unruly Crank’ has allegedly been stabbed to death by colleague Dancehall artist ‘Shadow’.
Born Emmanuel Aikins, ‘Unruly Crank’, 28, met his untimely death after what started as a social media feud became physical on Sunday at Victoria Park around 3:00 pm.
Questions about who was the best amongst the two dancehall acts were the main reason for this months-long feud.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased pulled out a cutlass in the course of the verbal argument on Sunday.
The cutlass was snatched by the latter, ‘Shadow’ born Bright Ellis who stabbed him in the neck and fled the scene.
He hasn’t been found to date.
Central Regional Police Deputy PRO, Sgt. Evans Entie in an interview confirmed the incident and added that the deceased was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital for treatment.
The body has been deposited at the Bakaano morgue for autopsy while police carry out further investigations
