Sensational Gospel Singer Lady Cee has changed her stage name to Akosua Yeboah.
Born Christabel Nana Akosua Yeboah, the gospel artiste has in the past few years displayed great potential in the gospel industry.
She has been tipped to be a star in the industry with her works in the not too distant future.
Akosua Yeboah has in an exclusive interview with Modernghana News announced that her new stage name Akosua Yeboah would be officially announced in February this year.
According to her, the move to change her name is motivated by the fact that it is her aim to become original, genuine, and at the same time versatile.
“..If you want to become original, you want to become genuine, why carry a name that is not from where you are in the sense that I’m Ghanaian. I’m an Akan but I’m using Lady Cee as my stage name. It doesn’t define what I want to do,” the young gospel singer shared.
Christabel Nana Akosua Yeboah continued, “The name Akosua Yeboah shows where I come from, what I’m about to do, and the originality I’m talking about because you cannot preach something and not practice it."
On the 14th of February, 2021, there will be an EP listening where the new name will be officially announced.
Meanwhile, organizers are expected to settle on the venue of the upcoming event and will be announced in time before the program.
This year, Christabel Nana Akosua Yeboah is geared up to serve fans and the Ghanaian populace with good music while embarking on a number of projects to impact lives.
