KNUST (NUGS) Honours Actor Bernard Nyarko

Actor Bishop Bernard Nyarko, one of the most talented Kumawood actors has been awarded for his immense contribution and support towards the growth of KNUST’s National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS).

At a colourful ceremony, the NUGS KNUST Excellence and Exclusive Awards 2017, held to honour his loyalty and for being a firm support to the students’ union, the actor was presented with a citation with words of commendation and appreciation for supporting KNUST NUGS’ progress in diverse ways.

According to the Union, Bishop Bernard Nyarko never withholds his best from them when they needed it the most.

According to the leadership of the Union, the Actor has over the years contributed greatly in making in achieving the tenets of their motto; Education, a right not a privilege.

They averred that Bishop Bernard Nyarko through his support to the Union, has proven that he is indeed a true ambassador for the growth and development of education and that he is ready at all times to offer the needed assistance to see them (students) succeed.

The Citation Reads:
“…In grateful appreciation of your immeasurable contribution to the National Union of Ghana Students KNUST.

It is a trite but profound expression that a person who exudes loyalty deserves royalty. You have been a firm support to this union and have contributed in diverse ways to our progress thus far.

You did not withhold your best from this union when we needed it the most.

Our cause as a union has always been to make the spirit of our motto (education, a right not a privilege) prevail, and in your own small way you helped us achieve it.

Our hearts are deep with gratitude as on this day we publicly celebrate you. Such a special person as yourself deserves a golden handshake.

For your immense contribution and unalloyed show of solidarity towards the union, we say Ayekoo.”

Bernard Nyarko who joined Kumawood in 2012 when he returned to Ghana after several years staying in the United States has been described by many movie lovers as one of the most promising actor who is doing marvelously well to uplift the Kumawood industry.

He has indeed proven his talent as an actor and has played versatile roles in movies such as Wanted, Boyz Abre, Sunsum Police, Aban Bo sia, Asiwa among others.
