Two of Zylofon Media artistes, Kumi Guitar and Obibini, yesterday put up a splendid performance at the just ended Ghana Music Awards UK 2017 which came off at the Gaumont Palace in Dominion Centre at Greenwood, London.
Stonebwoy also made the label popular by winning for the second time in succession the reggae and Dancehall song of the year.
The team flew their 8 member crew from Ghana for different reasons but made a big name for themselves when three of their artistes – Becca, Obibini and Kumi Guitar – stormed the event’s grounds and pulled a splendid performance.
Though Becca and Kumi Guitar lost out on their various nominations, the performance of Kumi Guitar and Obibini lifted up the venue with thunder applauds from the audience.
Kumi performed from his repertoire ‘One litre’ and his latest highlife banger “Dream” whilst Obibini explained the meaning of rap with his single “Statement”.
Led by their communications head Samuel A. Baah aka Sammy Flex, the rest of the team including Isaac Aidoo aka Gh Kwaku for social media and online activities, Enoch Atakorah as production manager as well as Abass Salami and Isaac Kwame Awuah for videos and photos.
Roger Appiah Kubi who is in charge of Becca was also there to manage some promotional activities of Becca whilst in London.
