From now till Christmas television viewers in Ghana will be subject to the second edition of what has been described as Ghana's most successful television reality show.
TV3 Mentor 2 will within the next sixteen weeks engage 12 carefully selected musical talents in a fierce competition to choose one person who will become the new Mentor.
Viewers will be expected to txt the name of their favorite contestant to a certain Tigo number soon to be announced. Week after week one delegate will leave the Mentor house by reason of low votes collected on Tigo and the decision of the star judges of the show.
Who ever wins automatically gets a life transforming reward for his or her musical career plus a lot of fame. Unlike the first edition, this time there is gender balance; six boys and six girls. The delegates were selected from four regions of Ghana; Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western and the Eastern Region.
The delegates were officially shown to the general public over the weekend at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra, an event which as well attended.
