Actor Umar Krupp was adjudged 2015 Best Actor at this year's edition of the Pan Africa Cinema Awards (PACA) held in Togo over the weekend.
The PACA, an annual ceremony to celebrate talents in Africa's entertainment industry, was held on Easter Sunday.
It attracted a number of important West African entertainers who received awards in various categories. Ghana's young talent, Umar Krupp, hoisted his country's flag high by winning best actor at the ceremony.
The other Ghanaian winners included Selly of Big Brother fame, born Selorm Galley, and producer Double D, born John Dada.
They won Best Supporting Actress and 2015 Best Producer respectively.
'I give thanks to God for this recognition. I dedicate this award to Him and my family who keep supporting me in whatever I do. I also want to really say thanks to everyone who supported my career in any way,' John Dada told NEWS-ONE on Thursday.
