Ghanaian CHARLOTTE MENSAH is the toast of the UK's Afro Hairdressing Industry

Proud Ghanaian and Afro hair expert Charlotte Mensah, has enjoyed a winning streak over the last week by scooping an impressive three accolades for her hairdressing work across two award ceremonies.

Just six days after being awarded with the prestigious British Afro Hairdresser of the Year title for the second year in a row at the 30th Anniversary of British Hairdressing Awards, held at London's Grosvenor hotel celebrity stylist Mensah triumphed again this time at the 20th annual Black Beauty/Sensationnel Hair Awards at the London Hilton Metropole Hotel, where she celebrated a further two awards, winning the Styling Team of the Year accolade for her talented team at Hair Lounge on London's Portobello Road, Mensah also claimed the coveted Stylist of the Year title.

We caught up with the lady herself who commented: “To have won three awards in one week and for two of those to be recognised as the highest possible Afro hairdressing accolades in the industry feels amazing. It hasn't even sunk in yet – words cannot explain how happy and grateful I am to be flying the flag for Afro hair”
