MILLA LAMPTEY A.K.A GASMILLA born on 15th December 1984, a Ga from Botianor has always been involved in music since the age of 7. He has worked with top producers like hammer of the last 2,JQ,Decoder, Odonsuo Aquabua and 5th project studios. Gasmilla currently has hit singles including"ABOO DAA TWOI",which talks about discrimination among women and 3 Points. The idea of setting up an Afrobeats band was to project Music made in Ghana and also perform original music to his fans on any given platform.
The band which is made up of Drummers, Keyboardists, percussionists, Lead and Bass Guitarists and trumpeters are top players in the industry whom have been sourced and poached from major bands by management of Gasmilla they include Humu Abdul Rahman, Emmanuel Opoku, Frank KwesiAmoako, Vida Nyarko, Sampson Yeboah, FairuzaNammaAbubakari, Kofi OseiBonsu, AttahAgyemang, Comfort Oman and Daniel OwusuAgyekum.
Before the official outdoor of the GasmillaAfrobeats Band, they have joined Gasmilla on many platforms to dish out original Ghanaian music including The recent Homowo Festival, Tigo Festival Train and The Akuaffo Hall Week Celebrations.
Speaking to Gasmilla he made mention that the Band will further extend their objectives to teach young Ghanaian children about their traditional culture and music in the near future.
