Taking place at the swanky Hilton London Metropole, the show bought together the most highly acclaimed stylists in the biz and served up an evening of exhilarating entertainment, laughter and high drama!
Proud Ghanaian Celebrity Hairstylist and Salon Owner Charlotte Mensah not only won Weave Stylist of the Year but then went to be crowned Stylist of The Year. Mensah was given a standing ovation from the packed audience as she went up to receive her award, her outstanding hair collection can be described as a visionary outlook with a fusion of bold shapes,sculptured textures, symmetry of culture and uncompromising beauty, evoking excitement with celebrities and locals alike was incredible to see.
The Black Beauty / Sensationnel awards were started in 1995 and was originally sponsored by Wahl. today it is sponsored by the Brand Sensationnel the awards honour the Afro hair industry and the creatives that work in it and winning Stylist of the Year is its prestigious Accolade.
Charlotte Mensah will be launching her own 'Charlotte Mensah' premium haircare range in 2013, part of the launch will be staged in Accra Ghana to honour her Ghanaian heritage.
