Ghanaian reggae musician, Blakk Rasta, made a splash in 2008 with his controversial and popular single, Barack Obama. It was on his Naked Wire album. The single thrust him into the international scene and was been featured in many media outlets, including CNN. Abubakar Ahmed is back with new singles and he doesn't stray far away from the Obama subject, this time taking aim for the ongoing events in Libya. Sing along to I cry / Libyan war at Museke.com. He calls on Obama to move out of Libya and not soil his hands with innocent blood, calling the war on Libya an oil war and a hypocritical war. He queries why there is racial discrimination in a America. To Obama he says "Now is the time to put on your African thinking cap and invoke the spirit of Africania"

His new album, BORN DREAD is coming out on 7th May, 2011. It is a 16 track album and will be his 7th studio album. The album also has tracks like Bobby and Dem Pose. On Bobby, he comments "Government prefers to spend on beauty contests and bikini shows relegating the children,our future leaders, to the background.The story of Bobby is a true one and we pray it never happens again."
