Strait of Hormuz Negotiations: Sources tell Al Jazeera Iran & Oman close to a deal

Senior diplomatic source tells Al Jazeera Iran and Oman are close to a deal, with only “one or two issues” unresolved. Source says an agreement could be reached today or tomorrow if there is no interference from other parties. Any closure or reopening of the Strait of Hormuz depends on possible US actions, not Iran-Oman differences. No current plans for FM Araghchi to travel to Islamabad.
