Ghana Premier League outfit, Karela United have appointed Evan Adotey as the new head coach of the club.
The club has been without a head coach following the exit of Enos Adepah before the suspension of the Ghana Premier League due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Adotey will be assisted by Mallam Yahaya.
After 15 matches played the club finished on the 17th position with 11 points.

KARELA UNITED APPOINTS EVANS ADOTEY, MALLAM YAHAYA AS HEAD COACH AND ASSISTANT
…..Aiyinase, 14th April 2020 - Karela United Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Evans Augustine Adotey as it’s head coach.
Coach Adotey is a former Technical Director of Medeama FC, the National Under 17 Female national team, the Black Maidens and currently works as the assistant coach of the National Under 20 male football team.
The club has also appointed former Ghanaian international and former coach of Nzema Kotoko and New Edubiase United Malam Yahaya as deputy to coach Evans Adotey.
Commenting on the appointments, Mr Elloeny Amande, CEO of the club said: “the club settled on the two coaches based on their in-depth knowledge of the game and the wealth of experience they possess”. “We are excited to have them in our fold and we are ready to give them all the necessary support”.
Coach Evans Adotey on his part thanked the board and the management of the club for giving them the opportunity to work and called for greater collaboration from all stakeholders. “I thank the board and the management on my behalf and that of my assistant for the opportunity and also call on all stakeholders of the club to rally behind us so together we can turn the fortunes of the club around”.
