Respected football administrator and Sports Broadcaster, Henry Asante Twum has called on Ghanaians to forget about Barcelona new recruit, Kevin-Prince Boateng issuing an apology to the country and Coach Kwesi Appiah.
Boateng, 31, is serving an indefinite suspension from the national team when he was sacked from the Black Stars camp during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil alongside Sulley Muntari.
The former AC Milan was reported to have used vulgar words for Kwesi Appiah in a heated argument.
However, after the German-born completed his move from US Sassuolo to Barcelona on Tuesday, there have been calls that the forward must return to the national.
Kwesi Appiah, who is the head coach of the Black Stars in an interview with Accra-based Asempa FM said Prince Boateng will only be seen in the national team shirt only if he apologizes.
But the Dreams FC Communications Director and the Starr FM head sports believes Kevin Prince Boateng is an honest person and will never apologize to Ghanaian and the head coach.
"I don't think Kevin Prince Boateng will ever return to the Black Stars," he told GhOne TV.
"Sometimes we should be blunt. I have travelled with the national team on a number of occasions and I was with the team in Brazil and I saw everything that has happened.
"I was with the team in Kumasi I heard him say the Kumasi Sports Stadium is rubbish and in that game, he did not play.
"We know how he describes our pitches and our continent.
"He joined Barcelona and Kwesi Appiah goes out there and says he [Kevin Prince Boateng] should apologize and come to the Black Stars?
"Coincidently, this is the same coach that led the team to Brazil and you expect Prince Boateng to apologize?
"See, this guy is honest and there is no way he will apologize," he added.
Kevin-Prince Boateng will be the Catalan club until the end of the season with an option staying at the club on a permanent basis.
