Abel Manomey has extended his contract with Division One League side, Accra Great Olympics.
The bulky forward signed a short-term contract to keep him at the Club until June 2019.
The 26-year-old ended his deal with the Teshie-based Club after the team’s demotion from Ghana’s top-flight.
Having overcome a problematic knee injury to play for his school University of Education at the GUSA games where he excelled enormously by finishing as the top scorer, the player caught attention from his former employers who handed him a short contract.
“I have officially extended my contract with Accra Great Olympics Company Limited this afternoon till the end of June 2019,” he posted on his Facebook page.
“Remember me in your prayers as I set sail another journey of the unknown.
“The journey of a tortoise continues.
“Believe is the word.”
The attacker prior to his chronic set-back was the top scorer for Great Olympics during the team’s campaign in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.
