Gerald Dah of Ghana has defeated Liu Yong of China after an extra 4th round in their 66.9 kg kickboxing fight on the Six Kingdoms Boxing tournament at Lushan Railway Station China on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

UAE based Dah knocked Liu down in two different rounds but the judges still declared the fight draw, necessitating an extra round which was duly won by the Ghanaian.

Gerald had been fighting under hard conditions and decisions, but he is never bothered than let the flag of Ghana be seen anywhere he goes as a Sports Ambassador.

He is a member of the Power Zone Team and performed creditably on the international scene, as he lost his last but one fight and made amends with the recent victory.

The victory has proved that Ghana Kick Boxers are doing their best despite no support from the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ministry of Youth & Sports.

Yoofi Boham. Vice President of the Ghana Kick Boxing Association has praised the recent victories by Gerald Dah and Jonathan Euro. He also commended the Pro Fighting Factory Gym in Ghana and Switzerland headed by Lawrence Nmai for their dedication and loyalty to the sport.

He was present at the first ever female Muay Thai Contest between Natacha De Almeida and Julie Grande on Boxing Day at the Bukom Boxing Arena and supported in the honouring of three personalities who have contributed to the development and promotion of Kick Boxing in Ghana; Yours Truly, coach Isaac Doku and Jonathan Euro who won a world title beating the champion in Hong Kong. Lawrence Nmai also praised Gerald Dah for his exploits and hard work.
