Former Sunderland and AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari was unable to find a club before the transfer windows shut on Friday.
But his status as a free-agent allows him to sign for a club at any time.
Muntari was on loan at Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna where made eight La Liga appearances.
The 34-year-old was recently training with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak to prepare for his next club.
He has played for Udinese, Inter Milan, Pescara and Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.
