Assistant coach of the Black Stars, Ibrahim Tanko held a meeting with the promising striker during his tour in Germany.
And according to the German-born of Ghanaian descent, he held extensive talks with his parents before choosing Ghana over Germany.
Wriedt, who is making headlines in Europe with his goal-scoring ability was being courted by the German football governing body before opting to play for Ghana.
