According to reports, Ghanaian footballer, Salifu Okocha who plies his trade in Niger for AS Fan is dead.
The former Nania FC died instantly after diving into a pool while he was with his teammates in Niger.
Okocha was a member of the Nania FC side that won the MTN FA Cup in 2011 by defeating Asante Kotoko in the final and also featured for Wa All Stars and Tamale Utrecht Academy.
