Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei has quit Congolese side TP Mazembe after spending five years with the club.
Nii Adjei who helped Mazembe to win the CAF Confederations Cup contract has expired and he is seeking to get a challenge somewhere else.
Adjei took to Facebook on Monday to confirm his departure, he posted saying:
“Glory glory hallelujah I came to Congo as a stranger and now I’m leaving as a hero I thank God for a successful 5 seasons in TP Mazembe which ends today.”
“God has been good to me for winning everything that is in football I can’t say much but all I say is thank you Lord thank you Lord all I have to say is thank you, Lord.”
The experienced midfielder scored one of the two goals that helped TP Mazembe to retain their title against Super Sports United.
