Owusu joined the Miners before the beginning of last season following an exciting spell at second-tier side Jakpekrom Mpuasuman FC.
In his debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight, he scored three goals and assisted one in the few games he featured for Gold and Black outfit.
Elmina Sharks FC are expected to make an audacious offer for the services of the 20-year-old in the coming days as they intend augmenting their squad ahead of the 2017/2018 season with the aim of making a huge impact.
