Aduana Stars defender Emmanuel Akuoko has showered praises on trainer Yusif Abubakar with three matches to end the first period of the season.
The centre back claims he has fell in love with the former Hearts of Oak, Heart of Lions and Techiman City coach's philosophy at the club since he joined them.
"Honestly, coach Yusif Abubakar is one of the best tacticians I have worked with at Aduana Stars," he told GHANASoccernet.com
"He is very direct and straightforward. His directives are real and has also made it clear no player has a permanent position in the team.
"For instance, I started only one match in the first ten weeks of the premier league and that was against Hearts of Oak but recently I have started two to three matches in a row.
"I just love his philosophy and he is a very good coach. It is time we respect our local coaches."
Aduana Stars are a point behind leaders West African Football Academy after 12 rounds of matches.
