AIK Stockholm sports director Björn Wesström has explained Patrick Kpozo's season-long loan move to Norwegian side Tromso is best for his development.
The 19-year-old broke into the AIK first team last year and managed 11 league appearances.
But Kpozo is not guaranteed game time this season.
''Patrick needs playing time to take the next step. The assessment is that Tromso provides the environment that is good for Patrick in the short term and for AIK in the long term,'' Wesström told the club's website .
