Jonathan Mensah has signed a two-year-deal with Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
The Ghana international sealed his move from French side Evian TG to the Russian top-flight side after completing his medical on Tuesday afternoon.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to English Premier League side Swansea City as his contract was set to run out at Evian
But he has opted to sign for Anzhi who are battling relegation in the Russian Premier League.
Mensah has already joined the Dagestani side in Spain for their winter training camp.
