Asante Kotoko suffered a 3-1 defeat to Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindoff park in Dansoman despite taking an early in lead.
Ahmed Toure shot Kotoko into the lead in the 5th minute before the home side got the equalizer in the 21st minute from Latif Blessing's goal.
And after going level at half time, Liberty Professionals made their dominance at their home grounds count as former Ghana U-20 star Kennedy Ashia gave them the lead in the 75th minute.
With coach David Duncan's side fighting to get an equalizer and atleast a point in the game, Alfred Nelson increased the goal tally for Liberty three minutes into added time.
Asante Kotoko who were 7th on the league log before Sunday's Match day 19 game, are now 9th with Liberty Professionals moving to 4th with 30 points.
