Portuguese side Boavista have announced that the team has ended its contract with Ghanaian international Quincy Owusu Abeyie over mutual consent.
The 28-year-old joined the Portuguese side last Summer after splitting from Greek club Panathinaikos.
The former Spartak Moscow, who has failed to impose his one-time impressive form at the club, reached an agreement with Boavista after holding series meetings with the club officials last week.
Abeyie played five games for Boavista in the whole 2014/15 season with no goal.
Owusu-Abeyie has played for Arsenal, Malaga, Spartak Moscow, Al Sadd and a host of other clubs
