Ghana captain John Mensah will end his 4-year stay at Olympique Lyon after agreeing to terminate his contract with the French Ligue 1 side.
Mensah who has a year left on his five-year deal signed in 2008 is already looking at the possibility of moving to another European destination.
The 29 year-old who returned to Lyon from loan with English side, Sunderland in 2011, failed to make an impact with the French side due to long injury spells last season.
He is now bracing up for a new challenge ahead of the new season with a move away from a move.
“I will be leaving Lyon this summer but for now I can't disclose where I will be going” Mensah told local radio, Joy FM.
“My agent is working on my move so I will leave everything to him.”
