
Clottey played briefly in Austria American top flight side New English Revolution are on the verge of signing three Ghanaian players including striker Emmanuel Clottey.
New England Revolution coach Steve Nicol visited the West African country two months ago in search of talents to boost his squad.
Nicol has now confirmed that he will also sign two defenders Great Olympics defender Eric Adjei as well as Tema Youth captain Kofi Mensah.
Clottey is a 22-year-old striker who also plays for Accra Great Olympics.
The striker finished as the league's top scorer with 14 goals and has been capped by Ghana's national team after playing for their U20s and U23's.
He last played in Europe in Denmark for Odense Boldkulb.
24-year-old defender Eric Adjei who plays with Great Olympic of Ghana is one of the defenders being looked at.
Adjei was on a short of loan deal at Bohemians Prague in the Czech Republic and is now back in Ghana trying to strike a contract with Olympics.
The other defender is former Rochester Rhinos defender Kofi Mensah who is currently with Tema Youth as a captain.
The thirty-year-old played with Ajax as a youngster and represented Holland at the U-21 level two times.
