Osei-Kuffour wants to end career at Kotoko

By ghanasoccernet

Former Ghana international Samuel Osei-Kuffour is reported to have shown interest in ending his career in the country's football league with newly-crowned champions Asante Kotoko next season.

The 31-year-old defender was sacked by Dutch Eredivisie side,Ajax Amsterdam, after an unsuccessful six-moth loan stint at the Amsterdam Arena.

Radio stations in Kumasi reported on Thursday that Kuffour has expressed interest in joining the Porcupine Warriors.

An official is yet to be made by the club as they concentrate on their Caf Confederation Cup campaign final qualifying round against Al-Ittihad on Friday.

Kuffour struggled to settle at a club since leaving German giants,Bayern Munich, in 2004 where he won six Bundesliga titles and four German Cups.

He also won the UEFA Champions League in 2003 and added the then Inter-continental Cup to his silverware cabinet.
