The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced ticket prices and sales arrangements for Ghana's upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Somalia at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

In a public notice issued on November 5, 2026, the NSA confirmed that tickets for the match will cost GH₵50 across all stands and sections with fixed seats, while supporters wishing to occupy the VVIP section will pay GH₵100.

Students will, however, be granted free admission to designated sections without fixed seats as part of efforts to encourage their attendance and boost support for the national team.

To benefit from the arrangement, students must present valid student identification cards for verification at the stadium.

Ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, November 10, at 10:00 GMT, with the Essipong Sports Stadium designated as the official sales point.

The NSA has urged supporters to purchase tickets only through the approved channel and adhere to the designated seating arrangements to ensure an orderly matchday experience.

The authority has also called on Ghanaians to turn out in large numbers to rally behind the Black Stars as they seek a positive result against Somalia.

The encounter, scheduled for Thursday, November 11, is part of Ghana's Group C campaign in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.

The Black Stars are under pressure to revive their qualification hopes after suffering defeats to Ivory Coast and The Gambia in their opening two matches, leaving them without a point.

Ghana will face Somalia again in the reverse fixture on Monday, November 16, at 15:00 GMT, with the match also scheduled to take place at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

The four-time African champions are desperate to secure a return to the continental showpiece after missing the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.

With their qualification campaign already off to a difficult start, the two matches against Somalia could prove crucial to Ghana's hopes of securing a place at the 2027 tournament.
