The Black Stars of Ghana will travel to Côte d'Ivoire on Wednesday ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the hosts.
The Group C encounter is scheduled to take place in Bouaké on Thursday, 24 September 2026.
The Black Stars have been in camp in Accra since Monday and held intensive training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium as they prepare for the opening qualifier.
Eighteen players took part in Tuesday's training session, with the technical team expected to oversee a final workout in Bouaké on Wednesday.
Ghana will, however, be without several key players for the match.
Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, Baba Rahman, Alidu Seidu, Nathaniel Adjei and Prince Kwabena Adu have all withdrawn from the squad because of injuries and personal reasons.
Carlos Queiroz's side will be hoping to secure a positive result against the Elephants as they begin their campaign in Group C, which also includes The Gambia and Somalia.
The Black Stars will return to Accra after the Côte d'Ivoire game to host The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on 27 September.
Ghana are seeking a return to the AFCON after failing to qualify for the 2025 tournament, which was hosted by Morocco.
The team will then conclude the international window with a friendly against Morocco at the Grand Stade de Tanger on 4 October.
