Former Ghana international John Paintsil has been reassigned as an assistant coach of the Black Satellites as part of a technical restructuring by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Paintsil, who recently served as the Black Stars' High Performance coach, moves to the national U-20 team setup to continue his coaching development.
The former Fulham, Leicester City and West Ham United defender was initially appointed as an assistant coach of the Black Stars following Otto Addo's reappointment before being reassigned to the High Performance role.
His latest appointment will see him join the Black Satellites technical team as they begin preparations for next year's U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
According to the GFA, the move forms part of a broader restructuring of the national teams' technical departments aimed at improving focus and efficiency across the various national sides.
Paintsil, who earned more than 80 caps for Ghana during his playing career, brings considerable experience to the youth setup as the Black Satellites seek to build a competitive squad for the continental tournament.
