2026/27 GPL Matchday 3 preview: Vision FC host Medeama as FC Samartex clash with Asante Kotoko

The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League returns this weekend with Matchday 3 fixtures scheduled across various venues in the country.

The latest round of matches will be played from Saturday, 19 September to Sunday, 20 September, with all games kicking off at 15:00 GMT.

On Saturday, Vision FC will welcome defending champions Medeama SC to the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in one of the weekend's notable fixtures.

At the Kpando Stadium, Heart of Lions will face Swedru All Blacks as both sides look to strengthen their positions early in the campaign.

Sunday's fixtures will see Hearts of Oak attempt to maintain their strong start to the season when they host Bechem United at the University of Ghana Stadium.

FC Samartex will also be at home as they welcome Asante Kotoko to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.

Newly promoted Port City FC will continue their debut Premier League campaign against Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Boamah Darko II Park.

Aduana FC, meanwhile, will host Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

At the Debibi Park, debutants Debibi United will take on Young Apostles, while Dreams FC will be looking to respond to their difficult start when they face Bibiani Gold Stars at the Tuba Astro Turf.

Basake Holy Stars will complete the weekend's fixtures at the AAK II Park, where they host fellow debutants FC AshantiGold.

All nine matches on Sunday are scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
