Hearts of Oak will adopt different approach for every game - Nebojsa Kapor

Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his side will adapt their tactics from game to game as they look to maintain their perfect start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians came from behind to beat Bibiani Gold Stars at DUN's Park on Sunday, making it two wins from two matches.

Kapor said Hearts would not adopt a fixed tactical approach, with each opponent requiring a different game plan based on their strengths and weaknesses.

“Every game is different, every approach is different depending on what we see in the opponents, the strengths and weaknesses,” he told the club's media channels.

The Bosnian coach believes that flexibility will be crucial if Hearts are to remain consistent and challenge for maximum points throughout the season.

He also praised the unity within his squad, saying the strong team spirit had contributed to their impressive start.

“The spirit in the team is very good and high, and I'm sure it will continue to help us win matches,” he added.

Kapor said the positive atmosphere in the dressing room could prove important during what is expected to be a demanding campaign.

Hearts' strong start has come despite uncertainty surrounding the club's management.

Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah resigned last week, leading to the appointment of an interim management committee to oversee the club's affairs.

Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has been appointed chairman of the committee, with Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, Akwasi Agyemang, Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Yusif Abdullai also serving as members.
