Samuel Boadu has indicated that it is too early to assure Aduana FC supporters that the team will win the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2026/27 season.
The former Hearts of Oak coach assumed the role of Aduana FC head coach at the end of last season, replacing Cioaba Aristica after he left the role.
On the opening weekend of the new league campaign, Boadu and his Aduana FC side travelled to the Volta Region where they locked horns with Heart of Lions.
In a difficult encounter staged at Kpando Sports Stadium, neither side could find the back of the net as the game ended in a goalless stalemate.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Samuel Boadu assured supporters of improved performance in upcoming games, but stressed that he cannot guarantee Aduana FC will win the league title at the end of the season.
“For now I can’t promise we will win the league because this is the beginning. We will do our best to work extra hard so that we can achieve something for the Aduana FC traditional area,” the coach told the press.
Following the draw against Heart of Lions, Aduana FC are set to lock horns with FC Samartex next weekend.
