Barcelona complete permanent signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah

Barcelona B have confirmed the permanent signing of highly-rated Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC following an impressive loan spell with the Spanish club.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at Barça Atlètic until June 30, 2028, with the club retaining the option to extend his stay by a further year.

The deal was finalised in the presence of Barcelona's Director of Youth Football, Jose Ramon Alexanko, underscoring the club's belief in the Ghanaian's potential as he continues his development in Spain.

Issah first joined Barça Atlètic on loan from Dreams FC in the summer of 2024. Although he took time to settle into life in Spanish football, the talented winger enjoyed a strong finish to the season under coach Juliano Belletti, scoring four goals during the latter stages of the campaign.

His impressive displays convinced the Catalan club to secure his services on a permanent basis, rewarding the progress he made throughout his loan spell.

The Ghana youth international is also expected to remain firmly on Barcelona's radar at senior level. Club president Joan Laporta has previously revealed that Issah will continue training with the first team during pre-season under head coach Hansi Flick, giving him the opportunity to stake a claim for a place in the senior squad.

The permanent move represents another significant milestone in Issah's career as he looks to continue his rise at one of Europe's biggest clubs while strengthening Ghana's growing presence in elite European football.
