2026/27 GPL: Hearts of Oak close in on appointment of Nebolja Kapor as new head coach

Hearts of Oak are closing in on the appointment of Serbian coach Nebolja Kapor as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season, with negotiations between both parties now in the final stages.

The Phobians have been searching for a substantive head coach since the departure of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

After weeks of deliberations, the club has made significant progress in talks with Kapor, with an agreement understood to be close to completion.

Kapor is well acquainted with Ghanaian football, having previously managed Division One League side Tema Youth before taking charge of Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
